About this password generator

The generator uses the browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator and avoids modulo bias when selecting characters. Each selected character group is guaranteed to appear at least once. If you select more groups than the chosen length allows, generation is unavailable until you increase the length or deselect a group.

Generated passwords exist only in the page while it is open. If you copy one, it will also be available on your device clipboard, which may be accessible to other applications or clipboard managers.

Generation happens entirely in your browser. Passwords are not uploaded or saved by ToolsLodge.

Can I choose which characters to include?

How long should my password be?

Longer passwords are generally harder to guess. Choose the maximum length accepted by the service; this tool allows lengths from 8 to 128 characters.
